Fear ~ Mouse

The flowers wait for rain to fall,
the birds count hours gladly;
the night gives way to day with grace
and does not suffer envy;
The ocean roars upon the shore
without a thought to hide;
but in this house, a fearful mouse
whose heart is locked inside.
